Your Splendor

Your world, it holds such beauty, so much I’d like to see.

Your mountains so enduring, they show your majesty.

Your rivers ever flowing, your sky so blue and white.

A sun so warm and awesome, it spreads your shining light.

Your night so still and restful, a time for all our dreams.

Your moon so soft and romantic, to share your love, it seems.

And then your air, it gives us life and yet, you can not see.

So much, it’s like your Spirit, always there for you and me.

Your splendor Lord you’ve given us, so much, that I’m in awe.

One day, your trumpet will fill the earth, your children you will call.

And then we’ll see your heaven, a place none can compare.

I’m longing for that journey, the moment I’ll be there.

Isaiah 65:17

For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth:

and the former shall not be remembered,

nor come into mind.
