Temptations
I have plenty, they come in many ways.
A battle I
am fighting, a struggle all my days.
From
television to radio, they filter in my mind.
The devil
wants to use them, to make me so unkind.
He know
he’s lost the battle, he such a cunning liar.
His
future’s not to pretty, it’s called the lake of fire.
So with the
time remaining, he wants to hurt God’s plan.
He knows
Jesus came to save us and forgive the sins of man.
I’m thankful
for my Savior; his blood protects my soul.
When Satan
pulls his tricks on me, in prayer is where I go.
I thank God
for his giving, his only begotten Son.
The blood
Jesus shed causes Satan to flee, the victory is won.

There hath
no temptation taken you but such as is
common to man:
but God is faithful, who will not
suffer you to be
tempted above that ye are able;
but will with
the temptation also make a way
to escape,
that ye may be able to bear it.
