New Life

Happy is the person, whose faith is in God’s Son.

Their life will have real purpose, that’s when my life began.

Life used to have no meaning, I thought about my dreams.

To be the greatest bowler, and all my get rich schemes.

I thought that I’d be happy, when money I had made.

That joy would come from laying in a hammock in the shade.

And then I was a sports nut, the joy I thought I had.

But just like making money, a temporary fad.

I found that I was looking for something new each day.

And then I gave my life to you, you are the only way.

Jesus you’re my Savior, a new life you have gave.

To a sinner who had no hope, and was destined for the grave.

My life is now so awesome, my sins forgiven me.

And all because of Jesus, who died on Calvary.

Luke 5:20

And when he saw their faith, he said unto him,

Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.
