Lord I need
your Spirit bright,
to keep me
faithful, to do what’s right.
My spirit’s
willing, but my flesh is weak,
When I’m at
my lowest, it’s you that I seek.
Why don’t I
see, that you’re the way.
You give me
strength; you light my day.
Empty me of
sin and pride.
Where
there’s no sin, you will abide.
Lift me to
your place of rest.
Help me
Father to do my best.
Loving you
is my desire,
Renew my
faith and light my fire.

return from heaven above.
