In life
I’ve had my treasures, my money and my cars.
My joy has
come in many forms, more countless then the stars.
Position in
society, it seemed the placed to be.
Having fun
at just about any cost was where it was at for me.
Why was I
still unhappy, I had more toys then most?
And the
sports I played were giving me fame; I was good enough to boast.
I thought
that once I’d gotten here, my happiness I would find.
And yet
there was this giant void and life seemed so unkind.
And then
someone shared Jesus, they said He was the way.
They said
that he could fill that void and brighten up my day.
They told
me he’d forgive me and come into my heart.
His Holy
Spirit would help me, his love he would impart.
Well now I
am a witness, of what my God can do.
He took
this sinner and saved me, the things they said were true.
The void I
had he’s filling, his joy and peace are great.
But better
still my destiny is not left up to fate.
Romans
15:13
Now the God
of hope fill you with all joy and peace
in believing,
that ye may abound in hope,
through the power
of the Holy Ghost.
