Stirring Up the Fires of Revival
Revivalists Wes and Donna Geiger returned to Abundant Life Community Outreach in Elmira, NY to stir
up the flame of revival. They led an extended revival in 2007 and returned to rekindle the fires! They were welcomed by Pastors
Jerry and Sue Berbary. They had just begun meetings in a new facility and were excited to have the Geiger's open the facility
in fire!

The Cost of Revival
God wants revival for everyone!
He wants us to live a life of liberty. Revival is not walking in sin. Revival is forgiving and blessing our enemies.
Revival is walking in unity. Revival is having the right motives for when we receive a touch from God. Our motive must
be to be touched to change the lives of others. Revival is making something happen for others. Revival is
a life change! Revival is a love change. Revival is loving and honoring people that we haven't loved and honored before.
Revival is reading the Word and doing what it says! Revival is selling out to God! Revival is doing what God tells us to do,
saying what God tells us to say and going where God tells us to go. Revival will launch you to your destiny. Revival will
launch you to people to minister to. Revival won't let you sit in neutral. Revival gives us vision and a bigger way
of thinking! Revival is being a carrier of God's fire! Revival is taking back what the devil has stolen and subdueing
kingdoms. Revival is staying stirred up!

Birthed in the Fire
The church was birthed
in fire. The disciples were empowered in the Upper Room to go and preach the gospel and walk by the Holy Spirit power doing
the things that Jesus did! We can't settle for the crumbs or watered down religion. Something happens when we are touched
by God. God wants us to be touched and take that power to the streets. The disciples were empowered for a reason. After the
Upper Room, Peter went out and preached boldly and 3000 were saved. We need to take what we receive and do what Jesus did.
It is not about hearing sermons all the time. It is about being filled and taking it to people that need a touch from Jesus.
The church was birthed in fire and we must continue to walk in that. The disciples needed refilled and sometimes we need the
same. We must go back to the power of Pentecost. We weren't birthed in the doctrines of man, but in the power of God.
If we are filled with the world, we will just go to church, if we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we will be the church!

Empowered or Lame?
Are we empowered with
the Holy Spirit or are we lame? We must transition from being the lame man to being the conduit for healing to flow through.
The anointing is to break the yoke. The anointing is caught not taught. Today is the day of salvation. The lame man at the
gate beautiful was given what Peter and John had received on the day of Pentecost. The lame man sat at the gate for many years
receiving hand outs and that is what he expected. But Peter and John brought something different. They brought the power of
God and the man was healed. We have to move from having the problem to being part of the solution. Lame are always takers
and not givers. The lame want others to do the work. They want to receive a touch or a word. The lame need to seek God for
themselves and receive the touch that will set them free. Jesus came to serve and not to be served. We must receive from God
and then use the work that He does in our life to change the lives of others. We get refreshed in God's presence in order
to refresh others.
