Poem Of The Month
The Only Begotten Son
God you are so loving, so patient and the One.
That
offered up your child, the only begotten Son.
He came to pay the payment, for all our sin and shame.
Even though
His life was sinless, He accepted all the blame.
He came with love so special, not caring for His life.
He suffered
much rejection, from our anger and our strife.
I think about you God, the way you suffered loss.
As they took your
only begotten Son and hung Him on that cross.
The pain that Jesus must have felt, as they nailed Him to that tree.
The
reason for His dying, was to set His creation free.
He gave His life to save us, from the sting of death and hell.
Now
we can draw our water, from His everlasting well.
I think about the love, He has for me and you.
As He said forgive
them Father, for they know not what they do.
Now you can have this new life, His love He will impart.
If you will
trust His saving grace, and ask Him in your heart.
